BeeLoved ("the app") is made by Bee The One Labs. It helps you care for your pets together with the people you choose. This policy explains what the app stores, who can see it and how to delete it. BeeLoved has no ads and never sells your data.

Your account

You sign in with Google or with an email address and password. Sign-in is handled by Google Firebase Authentication. We store your name and email address to sign you in, and your name is shown to the people in your care circle.

Your care circle

Everything you add lives in your care circle:

• the circle's name, the people in it and what each person can do;
• your pets' profiles: name, species, birthday or adoption date, a small photo, sex and neutered status, microchip number, vet and emergency contacts, allergies and conditions, insurance and notes;
• routines and their reminder times;
• care logs: what was done, by whom and when, with any notes;
• health records such as weight, vaccinations, medication, vet visits, symptoms, diet, milestones, grooming and expenses.

Only people in your circle can see it. The circle's owner decides whether each person is a caregiver, who can log care and update routines and records, or view only, and which pets each person can see.

Where your data is kept

Circle data is stored with Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore) and is encrypted in transit. Google acts as our service provider. The app also keeps a copy of recent data on your phone so it works when you are offline; changes sync when you reconnect.

Invitations

To add someone to your circle you create an invitation code and share it yourself. Each code can be used once and expires after 48 hours. You can withdraw it before it is used.

Crash reports

To find and fix bugs, the app uses Google Firebase Crashlytics. When the app crashes, a crash report is sent with technical details such as the phone model, Android version and app version. Crash reports do not include your pets' care records.

No advertising

BeeLoved has no ads. The app does not use your device's advertising ID, does not include any advertising SDK and does not share data with advertisers.

Purchases and tips

When BeeLoved Pro and "Buy me honey" tips become available, they will be processed by Google Play. We will not receive your payment details.

Notifications and alarms

Reminders are scheduled on your phone. Notification and alarm permissions are used only to deliver the care reminders you set, and the app restores them after your phone restarts.

Exports and sharing

If you export your journal or share an invitation, the app hands it to an app you choose on your phone. What happens to it after that is up to you and that app.

Deleting your data

You can delete pets, routines, care logs and records in the app at any time. To delete your account, open Settings and choose Delete account:

• if you own a circle, this deletes the whole circle for everyone in it: every pet, routine, care log and health record;
• if you are a member, you leave the circle and your account is removed; the circle stays for the others.

You can also email us to delete your account.

Children

BeeLoved is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
